The Controlled Substances Act requires that a pharmacy use DEA Form 222 to purchase Schedule II medications. The DEA Form 222 issued to a pharmacy is specific to that pharmacy for the use of ordering or transferring Schedule II medications. The DEA Form 222 cannot be lent to another pharmacy.
